Dr. Casmir Ezim
Education and Training
Dr. Ezim received his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Psychology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County before earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.
He completed a three-year surgical residency at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in South Bend, Indiana, where he was appointed Chief Resident during his final year of training.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Ezim is passionate about staying current with the most advanced techniques in both conservative and surgical management of foot and ankle conditions. His clinical interests include:
- Limb salvage
- Reconstructive foot and ankle surgery
- Wound care
Board Certification
- Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine
- Board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery
Professional Experience
Dr. Ezim previously practiced within a multispecialty medical group in Central California, where both autonomous and team-based care were emphasized. This environment strengthened his collaborative approach to patient care while maintaining a strong focus on individual patient needs.
Community and Practice Philosophy
Dr. Ezim is excited to transition to the greater Knoxville area to continue building strong, long-term relationships with patients and to serve as an advocate for their overall health.
